First of all, I really enjoyed this year's ceramics class. I have to admit, although I wanted to take ceramics since freshmen year, I always didn't have room as it was not high up in my priory. Ceramics this year started out as a class that I took because I had a extra spot in my schedule. I still love art ( drawing) so I knew I was going to enjoy this class as well, and it was sort of a "why not" kind of decision. This year however, it has become one of the classes that I absolutely adore and can't imagine school without. Ceramics 2 has been one of my first definite classes that I scheduled for next year. And yea. I love this class.
I learned a lot this year, and realized that I wasn't as bad as clay building as I had thought, and it was such a comfy & free environment. ( My other art class, AP art really was not doing that for me this year. The stress and agony.. and the pressure to finish quality works in time.. It was terrible)
The blog, although it was a pain at times, was such a nice way of keeping things organized. It was cool to see how things progressed, and how I improved over the course of the class.
I'm really excited for having Ceramics II, Work study, and AP art History with you next year.
Since I'll be practically living here, I'll just set up a tent in the corner.
