This week has been one hectic week. First thing's first.. my coil pot is finished drying!
It honestly looks better white, and Im planning on making it blue. I was going to go with Iron Lustre.. but the mixovers look so cute that I think Im going to go with iron lustre over blue rutile. It's a blue gray color and it's really really beautiful. Im hoping the color wouldn't change too much on it's own since I want the texture/shape that's already there to show.

Also, This has nothing to do with ceramics.. but it's my blog so why not. I finished brainstorming for my AP Drawing concentration piece ;) I chose sleep and the unconscious and the conscious part of it.. and how it's the most unguarded peaceful moment. I was going to do various ppl, with mediums like color pencil, pencil, acrylic paint, and charcoal.. I'm not sure yet.
I started working on my first piece :) Here it is!!. Guess who it is! ( btw She's in your class)

I also took some photos of my previous works. Some of them are nude, so I am not going to post them here. (Honestly, I' fine with it, but Ms. Ekin didn't want me to hang it in the gallery and stuff ) The photos came out great. Some were blurrier.. and some came out kinda whitewashed, but one of my works came out really nice, and it's one of my favorite. I want to do a background for this, but Ms. Ekin doesn't want me to. I don't know. I am probably end up doing it anyways.
Btw, Ms. Ekin brought some fish one day and cut it up for us to draw. THis is what happened. It's color pencil but everyone always tells me that it looks like paint. Hmmm....
