So yea… the title is pretty self- explanatory. My purse pot broke. Yea.
The "idea" and "start" part I will cover in the next blog. But for now, I'm gonna complain because I just lost a pot and that's like losing a child except it's a pot.

My pot now:
I wasn't going to say this but the pot kinda looks like poo here with the crumpled paper towels around it… :P
Anyways, today, after a great lunch, I was pleasantly surprised to see a giant wood board squishing the life out of my purse pot. I lifted the board hoping that my pot would somehow be moderately, fixable-ly damaged but sadly it didn't make it. I think I'm going to start a new pot.
Some changes:
- I tried pot building with red clay for the 2nd time ( after the 1st with the pinch pots) and I think that I enjoy the gray clay more. It molds better and stays wetter than red clay, which would make building y pot a lot easier, and it also is a lot less grainy. I won't have the red color of the red clay after it's fired though, so I might have to resort to having a white-pink pot or acrylic paint
- That's the other thing. The purse might end up being light pink because of the clay change, which I'm totally fine with.
