Unfortunately, I don't have a pic for the glaze covered pot, but it's looking good. I actually changed my idea with the glaze, because after I changed to gray clay, the white/pink color that came out for my pot seemed so dull ( compared to my original red-brown clay and my red-brown pot). I wanted to do a dip glaze for my pot that had enough color variation for the in and outs of my ruffles to have different colors ( as in the concave parts to color darker or another hue because of the excess glaze in it) and wanted my handle also to stand out from the actual purse section ( again with the different thickness of the glaze). I also, however, didn't want the glaze that was too crazy because my pot already is a lot to take in and I didn't want to overwhelm anyone with my pot.
I went with Verde Lustre over Blue Midnight because this glaze not only had the different hues of green, but also dark and light blue, black, brown and light brown. I was especially thrilled that the thinnest part of the glaze turned out a completely different color, brown, from the origin ( thicker) area, green and blue.
MY pot currently looks gray right now with spots of red poking through ( that's Blue Midnight). I also put glass on the bottom of the pot with a blue theme ( with pearly blue, dark blue, pearly purple, and pearly white) so I'm hoping that my pot comes out Pot-fabulous!
